The proposed Global Disease Monitoring Lab from the "Lifestyle Laboratory" Exhibit.

This will be a high-tech, futuristic, global health monitoring and control center. It will include many stations to research epidemics of human diseases and their causes around the globe. Enter a specific disease into the computer and see where its hot spots are around the globe. You can then ask the computer to list the common denominators of these diseased cultures (habits, practices, foods used, locations, sun availability, etc. etc.). Then as a class, discuss your theories and/or ask the computer to theorize. This exhibit will be ideal for school groups as the participants may work together at different stations to form their conclusions. Many other interactives and games will be included outside of this lab. The will be the last one of our proposed five exhibits to be designed and built as it will take substantially more time and money to create and will be quite large.
